It’s actually quite saddening to see, the very profession that supposedly embodies Caring, Understanding, Knowledge, Trust, Attention to detail, Responsibility, Empathy,… is the very people who couldn’t care less when their fellow colleague is feeling unwell or burnt out. It is very sad indeed to see, these very people who have years of experience in nursing, to gain the title of supervisor or senior, is the very person to watch or push their subordinate to the limit, an irreversible end. Worst yet, are those who maybe complies to patient privacy out of necessity, but would backstab and spread rumours of fellow nurses, for stress reliever? Or just for your sick enjoyment? Sorry I seem to have delineated from this news sharing, but maybe it’s just something that has been bothering me about certain seniors and their inhumane disregard for those who work alongside them. Have you ever thought, if it was your child, your family or friend that had to go through these unnecessary stressors and for what? And ultimately pay with their life…
