Just finished watching 《The Holiday》, starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, and Jack Black. The story concerns two women, Amanda (Diaz) and Iris (Winslet) who, due to unfortunately circumstances in their life decide to (impulsively) switch houses for the Christmas holiday.  Okay… not the right season, i know…XD Both women upset and needing a change of scenery, both unexpectantly, finds romance. But will it end when they change back in two weeks?

I had two main trial of thoughts while I was watching this movie. One, is that if two people really trust in each other, distance does not become a factor any more. In fact, nothing becomes a reason to seperate. And if you weren’t meant to be… then you weren’t meant to be.

Another was, it’s so not fair!! How people can just impulsively decide to go on holiday tomorrow. Just randomly pick a fun and exciting destination and take off, tomorrow!! no… i don’t feel so keen about opening my house up for any random stranger, but the idea of being able to pack a small suitcase and travel around the world, amazes me. Maybe, it’s just, having too much things tying me down at this place, when desperately in my heart, i wish to be halfway around the world…. with you.
